Bus customer counting system (OYSS), counts the number of customers and aims to prevent the un-paying beneficiaries. If it is used together with the electronic ticket functions, together with the consolidation of the e-ticketed and normal ticketed customers a report for each coach is produced.
 

System is composed of a smart box containing the control unit, and sensor unit(s) placed at each door. Whenever the bus door is opened, sensor activates the counting mechanism. The sensor unit above the door counts the customers entering. When the bus returns to the garage, by connecting to the special data connection port of the smart box with a flash memory gadget, recorded data is transferred to the operations center for data collection.
The data that would be transferred over the flash-memory would contain, the starting time for the counting, result of the daily counting, and time and date of the transfer moment. There is also an optional choice for delivering the data based on a GPRS connection to another operational central.
